There's only one way to describe this anime: A Masterpiece. Aside from the amazing writing, beautiful animation, stunning music and fascinating characters, this anime conveys an interesting romance. The romance in this anime is not the usual love story you'll find. This anime isn't afraid to make a mess of your feelings. The truth is, this anime is gonna be a massive roller coaster ride. I should also say a few things about the anime in general, one of which being the fact that this anime is going to look very confusing at some parts and it will make you think a bit about what it's actually happening, so bear with it. Also make sure to watch the sequel special and movie. The bottom line about this anime is that: It deserves the hype it gets which makes it a must watch.
This is one of the greatest anime I've ever seen. Loved it. My only recommendation is give yourself a minute after the first 24 episodes and the OVA... The second season (Steins;Gate 0) takes an alternate path from the original ending, and if you're not prepared for it... it can be rough. Still worth watching both seasons.
